The Roaming McDonalds
Welcome to our trip journal! We are Dennis and Corkie McDonald. We got into the traveling bug during our working life. We had the good fortune of working at a number of overseas assignments which gave us the opportunity to live and work away from North America. We realized that we had not had the opportunity to visit North America in any depth, just jumping to cities all around the country by plane and having to return to work all too soon. We've been retired eight years now and have spent that time traveling throughout North America in our home on wheels. While this journal is primarily intended for family and friends, we hope that anyone just browsing will find it interesting. Full time RV'ing is not a life for everyone but we are still enjoying the ride. We keep an eye out for that perfect spot to settle down and while we have found great places to spend time for a particular season, we're still looking and enjoying the search.
