Welcome to the second installment of our RV travels. After the resounding success of our inaugural road trip last winter, we have decided to keep on trucking on land for a while. This time we're exploring a little closer to home -- Ron, Meredith & Salsa do southern Vancouver Island.
Vancouver Island lies off the southern coast of British Columbia. It's 460 km (290 miles) long and 80 km (50 miles) wide at its widest, giving it an area of 32,134 sq km (12,407 sq miles). It's the 43rd largest island in the world.
