Welcome to The Pierre Girls' Travel Journal!
On July 1, 2007 we left our comfortable home of 11 years in Wickford, Rhode Island and moved into our new home, a 5th wheel Sandpiper camper. With our Chevy Silverado diesel truck, we will be traveling across the US for a year. We plan to camp a bit, boondock a bit and figure it all out as we go. Having a home on wheels allows us to have a new backyard to explore each time we move.
