Welcome to the web log of our trip in northern Europe in Aug/Sep 2006.
The trip starts with a flight from Sydney to London on Aug 12, then a cruise along the west coast of Europe for two weeks, followed by train, bus and air travel in Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Germany for about another three week before returning home via London. The cruise typically docks around 8:00 am each day at the cities we visit and leaves around 5:00-6:00. The nights are spent eating and drinking at sea, the days in port.
