It's Christmas and I'm getting ready to leave for India. I'm starting my trip journal as I sit nursing two sore arms from my visit to the travel clinic today for polio, diptheria, typhoid and Hep A. Took my mother with me so I would not have a repeat of a session in the '90s where I passed out on the way out of the clinic and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I'm doing much better this time. Maybe it was just having my Mom there.
Trying to follow travel advice to pack light. I bought a small backpack on wheels. Also packing multi-functional travel clothes and not too many. As they say, I can always pick up what I need when I get there. Especially looking forward to shopping in the Indian markets.
