The tour of China started on 14 November with a flight from Southampton to Shanghai.
I am back now but will update this journal over the next few days.
Unfortunately access to the internet in China was quite restricted and when it was possible it was expensive and slow, which is why I was not able to update entries while I was there. Sorry.
