Welcome to our Palm Springs 2009 RV Trip Journal. In early January, we will be heading south to spend about three months in southern California and Arizona. Our primary destination is Palm Springs, CA where we expect to stay for two months. We will be spending a few days in Bakersfield, Needles, Banning, and Blythe,(to attend the shows in Quartszite, AZ) before heading on to the Sands RV & Golf Resort in Palm Springs.
We are going to take a side-trip to Tucson, AZ for three days in early February to take in the annual Bead & Gem Show. Like last year, we'll be staying at the Beaudry RV Resort and after that heading right back to our spot at the Sands RV & Golf Resort until the last week of March.
This year, weather permitting, we hope to travel up to the Grand Canyon in Arizona to spend three days there exploring the sites. On our way home, we will probably spend a few days in Las Vegas, NV before heading for the I-5 and the trip home.
