Welcome to my trip journal! After a year already filled with medical issues, the birth of a child, and Chris working long hours both at home and out of town, we decided we needed a get-away. After Hurricane Irene roared up the Eastern Seaboard, we decided the Outer Banks, our first destination of choice, was not necessarily the wisest one. Finding a great deal online, we have booked a trip to Maui!
