Hello everyone and welcome to my travel blog, my way of keeping a journal of my round the world trip. I hope to be organised and update this regularly, if only to let my mum and dad know that i'm still alive! I've got a year off work, a full year (I never get bored of saying that!) and my plan is to spend 6 months in South America and a further 6 months in NZ, Oz and South East Asia. I've never actually been abroad for longer than 3 weeks before and I know a lot of my friends think this will be a very short blog and that i'll be home in a month. But I won't! Anyway, i'm not Michael Palin so if you don't know me you may find reading about my trip very uninteresting. In fact, even those of you who know me may find it uninteresting. But here it is...
