Ian and Suz's Travel Journal

We are off on another big trip. This time we are travelling through Russia, Mongolia and China on the Transiberian Railway (Transmongolian for any pedants). We are spending about three weeks travelling through Russia - first St Petersburg, then Moscow and finally Irkutsk before heading into Mongolia for a trip into the Gobi Desert.
In China we are doing a three week Explore Trip visiting all the usual places - Great Wall, Forbidden City, Yang Shao, Guilin, the Panda's and ending in Shanghai, where we jump on a plane and race back to London in time for me (Ian) to start a new job at a new school with new children.
But like last time, instead of doing big emails we will do the trip journal and you can, if you wish, keep tabs on where we are and what we are doing... or you can disregard the update notices and lie about having read it when we next meet.
Hopefully, unlike Africa, we won't be sick too often and Suz won't nearly drown.
Anyway, enjoy if you want to read it or ignore as you wish.

Keep cool and keep happy and keep travelling,
Ian and Suz
