Eat Asia 'The Big Return' 2006-2007 |

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost a poem featured in The Outsiders, a book I read when I was 15, fell in love with it and have never forgotten it, when Ponyboy recited it to Johnny. It refers to nature but to me it reinforces my view on life in general. If you're given the opportunity to learn see touch smell experience and eat something first hand, enjoy it, because like us it won't be around forever...
We've escaped again!
6 years ago, we were bitten! Bitten hard by the travel bug.
Since then every Christmas we've attempted to satisfy our cravings by migrating east in search of warmer climates and a wealth of weird and wonderful food. Despite these annual travels the itching has never subsided and so we return...
May the food preparation begin and the wildlife beware, we're on our way!
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain.
"When preparing to travel, lay out all your clothes and all your money. Then take half the clothes and twice the money." - Susan Heller
