Road Trip, one more trip to the North Country before the snow and cold. Don’t worry I have an extra coat of wax on the Airstream to make sure the snow slides off.
I am heading straight North through OK, KS on to NW Nebraska, where I will camp for a few days, touring Badlands NP, Wind Cave NP, MT Rushmore and Devils tower before meeting some friends in Lewistown MT for Pheasant Hunting for a couple of days and then visiting The Caraways in Kalispell. Of course fly fishing is a requirement of any trip near water.
Puddles the traveling Maltase, is not making the trip. She will be 16 on Nov 29th, mark your calendars for the surprise birthday party, so I left her in an Assisted Living facility.
Sister Charlotte, aka Queen Charlotte, is tasked with remodeling my kitchen with the help of Design guy Danny, while I am out of town. Sounds like I am doing nothing on the project, but I did leave a check and packed the kitchen, with a little help. I will never find all my stuff. Wow I just realized how scary leaving QC with a check sounds, but at least she does not have my credit card.
The route home and the length of this trip are dependent on the weather, the fish, and social security.
