Welcome to this journey. Gene and I are avid hikers and have dreamed of hiking the Appalachian Trail for many years. The necessity of a regular income from a job and other obligations has prevented us from doing a thru-hike, so we have done several “section hikes” over the years. We want to share our experiences and reflections of those hikes as well as the adventure of our current journey.
