Welcome to my trip journal!
Gerald and Darlene have embarked on a trip of a lifetime. We are working and traveling around the United States as missionary volunteers. We will be working at different places and will keep you updated on what we are doing and where we are every week. Last fall on the 11th of October 2011, we left our home in Sedgwick and have not regretted the decision.
We have joined the Mobile Missionary Assistance Program for the ability to work and play in the many places of the United States. They have many sites in the south during the cold months and the north is where we will work in the summer or visit relatives then. This organization is the best I feel because of the fact that they allow you to choose the area and then you know about 2 months in advance where you will be working.
