Thanks for taking the time to check out my website.
Within this site, you will find my writings and images as they relate to my travels through Bahrain, Yemen, Israel, Jordan, and UAE.
The primary purpose of this trip is to undertake Arabic language instruction at the Centre for Arabic Language and Eastern Studies (CALES), in Sana'a, Yemen. The secondary purpose is to challenge myself and to seek out new inspiration through the people i meet and the places i go. Like most travellers, i am also seeking greater self-awareness and hoping to gain a deeper understanding of people and cultures that exist at the opposite end of my own religious, cultural and socio-economic spectrum. 'God Willing', as my new hosts would say, this will be done.
Considering Yemen is not the most popular tourist destination, i hope you find the tales contained within this site interesting and refreshing. Your feedback is both welcome and encouraged.
