Welcome to my trip journal!
I am looking forward to travelling from February 2-18, 2010, when I will be exploring Costa Rica from February 3 to 17th. With a small group of travellers and spending much time off the tourist trail in small communities and national parks, I will be experiencing local culture, cooking traditional dishes and indulging in Costa Rican specialities, visiting Tico farms and a rural school, exploring the rainforest's canopy, flora and fauna, relaxing on a Caribbean beach, and seeking the surprises and adventures which await.
In addition to travelling by bus, foot, and boat throughout the various regions, San Jose will be on my itinerary upon arrival to and departure from Costa Rica. This, I expect, will offer opportunities to learn something about Costa Rica's rich history and today's urban lifestyle.
In this trip journal you will be able to view my itinerary, and hopefully I will have the occassion to share some adventures with you enroute. Please check after I have returned as I will have some photos to post for your viewing.
