Welcome to our trip journal. We are very excited to begin this phase of our lives. Linda worked for the school district in Texas City, Tx for 40 years prior to retiring in December, 2007. I worked at a chemical plant in Texas City, Tx for approximately 30 years prior to retirement in 2006. We both looked forward to being retired and maybe seeing some of this great country of ours.
We began full time rv living January 29, 2008, when we signed the closing documents on our home. We had lived in this home since 1988, but had lived in our RV for almost a year before selling our home, so we were convinced this was for us. Now, our home is where our RV is parked and we are very happy with this carefree lifestyle.
