Hey ya, welcome and thanks for logging in.

I was evacuated from Chad in December, and have been back in New Zealand since, until being offered a contract to Uganda which I accepted.

My position is as the Logistics/Operations Manager for ChildFund, Uganda. We are working with gender based violence and child poverty in the IDP (Internally Displaced Personnel) camps.

ChildFund's primary focus is creating safe environments for the adolescents and children in the camps. Girls, in particular are at risk of being physical abuse and rape. Children who are disabled or separated and unaccompanied are also at high risk.
