Burning Fuel
Welcome! We sold our house, quit our jobs (sort of...J will return to his) and will be on our way to Alaska in July of 2006! We realize it sounds crazy to many, but we saw an opportunity to slow the passage of time, enjoy time spent with our daughter (and one another), and get to know more of the country we live in while we are still young and healthy, so we took it! The purpose of this journal is to document our travels and to keep our families and friends in touch with us during our time away from them. Until it is time to return to the daily toil of life we will "Carpe Diem, quam minimum credula postero" (Seize the day, put no trust in tomorrow.) -Horace
