Boggs' Mediterranean Travels 2008 |

Welcome to our trip journal! As some of you know, we finally had the opportunity this Fall to take our long awaited Mediterranean Cruise. We had planned this trip for 2002, but cancelled our plans due to travel safety concerns after 9/11. So we packed our bags and on September 17th flew off to Barcelona, Spain for the adventure of a lifetime.
Joining us were good friends from Bluewater Bay - Larry and Barbara Sims, and Bob and Lilli Keller. We spent 3 days in Spain and then boarded the Emerald Princess which would take us to France, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and end in Venice, where we spent a final two days before returning home on October 5.
For those of you who have been asking for pictures, you don't know what you're asking!!! Among the three couples we have about 2000 digital pictures. Bob and I brought home 700 of our own. I have printed 450 of these and put in an album. So BEWARE, if you come for a visit you may be held captive to look at them.
There were some great highlights which we'll try to share here. We'll do our best to keep the pictures to a minimum and the descriptions of our travels brief. We've used the Oct 4 entry to recap our list of "bests" and "favorites".
