Rachel and Jennifer's Journey to Antarctica |
|
Welcome to our trip journal! This is my second attempt at a trip blog and (with Jennifer's assistance), I plan to provide you with a virtual postcard of our voyage to Antarctica as it happens. I am going to try do a better job than I did with my India trip, so that means a minimum of two entries this time!
And if for some unimagineable reason, I fail to keep up here, you can also go to the Linblad website and read the daily expedition reports posted by the field staff at http://www.expeditions.com/Daily_Expedition_Rep54.asp
Click on the dates below to see our trip entries when they have been entered. You can also sign up to receive a notice when the site is updated by clicking on the "Request Updates" link to the right. Clicking on the "Itinerary" link to the right will (what a surprise) take you to a general description of the trip itinerary.
If you want to see some cool satellite imagery of Antarctica from NASA, follow this link http://lima.nasa.gov/ (thanks to Stacy for sharing the site).
