On the Open Range

Welcome to my trip journal! Today is May 14,2009. We have received and accepted an offer for the house with a closing date of June 30. That means we have about 6 weeks to sort and dispose of all non-essential items if we are to go on the road full time in our brand new 385L 2008 Open Range RV. On the one hand I am so excited- we have been working towards this goal for a long time. On the other hand it is final- no more stick house, no more place to "stash" unneeded but still important items. On the road- just the two of us and maybe the cats Reba and Ally Cat. That space is much smaller that we are used to! But Denny tells me I am the queen of stashers- so I should be able to get all the things on board that I need and most of the things that I want(Smile) Stay tuned to all the news regarding the downsizing and start of our new adventure!
