Our little road trip - 2011 |

In February of 2010 we bought a Tiffin Allegro Bay 35' motorhome with the hopes of hitting the road and seeing things in this great country that we have missed over the years.
Don't get me wrong - we have traveled a pretty fair amount - but in all those years of flying and driving here and there on vacation we have missed alot of things in between. Hopefully we will now be able to see some of those things that we have flown over and driven past in the last 29 years. Will we see everything? Nope. But we'll give it a shot.
In the 14 months that we have owned the coach we have put over 8,000 miles on it without leaving Florida so it's time to see some other landscape. This trip is pretty unscheduled - we only have plans to stay in Ocala and Tallahassee for a couple nights visiting family, then it's off to the Grand Canyon. After that, we have no plan or schedule so who knows where we will be and when. Maybe at your house - but relax; we'll call first.
That being said, don't expect too much from this journal. You'll see the occassional update on where we are and what we've done, boring descriptions of things we've seen and probably some pictures. In other words, if you're expecting a Pulitzer Prize winning, literary blockbuster you need to look elsewhere. We won't have time to put a lot of effort into this journal - after all, we have a lot to see and do...
