I am glad that you have taken the trouble to come and have a look and this LogBlogDiary. I will do my best to make it both interesting and informative, also I hope to keep it short – a necessity with the size of the keypad on my mobile.
We are setting off on 29th April 2011 – 4 weeks from now – and our journey will see us travelling over 1,800 miles, through 6 countries, and will take us around 60 days travelling around 35 miles a day. Included in that will be days of rest and sightseeing. We intend to return during the 1st week in July.
This will be an adventure for us and may be the last of our big journeys. The distance and time away is greater than before and the time of year is a little earlier. We have yet to juggle the problems of warm clothing Vs space, extra maps. A dilemma that will be easily resolved we only have so much pannier space!
