Why ROTIP?
Traditionally, retiring is something that happens on a particular day. Before that day, you're working. After that day, you're not. Before you retire you have an income but no time to enjoy it. After you retire, you have plenty of time but not enough money.
That just doesn't work for me. So, I've decided to go as gradually from full employment to full retirement as possible. On these web pages, I'll weave the story of my personal journey into my own brand of retirement, which I call Retirement On The Installment Plan.
