LIGHT Overcoming Darkness

Welcome to our trip journal! This letter is to let you know that we are on the road again, but for only three weeks this time. We left Lucerne Valley, CA yesterday morning after picking up a utility trailer to deliver in Oklahoma. We will be at the Clayton’s over Shabbat, the 4th, and then on out to Kentucky to spend Passover and the first day of Unleavened Bread at the Waller Family Week Camp at Ken Lake State Park. We’ll then go on down to Paris, TN to meet some new (to us) brethren for Shabbat the 11th and gather with precious believers we met last year in northern Mississippi on Sunday evening. Leaving Monday morning for Texas, we will be in the Georgetown/Waco area through Wednesday, the 15th. Then we are heading north to Iowa with a few stops between. If we missed you this time our prayer is that we may connect with you on our next trip! There are three points of prayer and/or participation that we want to briefly mention: 1.) a fund-raising effort for an Orthodox Messianic congregation in Jerusalem that we were honored to meet last November when we were in Israel completing the assignment of YHVH that began with making a proclamation at each of the lower 48 State Capitols – more information on this will be coming to you shortly via email; 2.) Shirley has a word from YHVH for women entitled, “Leah…Heroine for Me Today?” – It is a timely message for the wearing down that many are experiencing and how we as women can lead fruitful lives, 3.) 50 Places of Prayer – as darkness increases across the land there is an urgent need for LIGHT to also increase. The Ruach has spoken to my heart saying that we cannot just sit by and watch the darkness increase and respond by saying, “bring it on, just means the Messiah will come that much quicker.” We believe the Ruach is speaking that LIGHT must increase in us, we must pray and seek His face and intercede, or darkness will envelope us, but remember where Light is darkness is not. 50 Places of Prayer is about retracing our journey of last summer this time though in intercession for the set apart ones in those states and Israel to be LIGHT that overcomes darkness. Prayer is just beginning for this and we ask you to join us in praying for your state, that LIGHT will increase in your state government offices if not in the officials themselves then in their staff, and every other arena that the Ruach brings to mind. As darkness increases LIGHT must also increase and that LIGHT that increases must be in us! SHALOM and Blessings! We will keep you posted. Steve & Shirley
