2006 Travels Around Texas & New Mexico
Welcome to our website! One day last winter we awoke to the realization that we had not exactly caught on to retirement. Each with our own business and tied down (by our own hand) to beautiful Rockport, Texas.
We had one of those "if not now - when?" moments and set off checkbook in hand to buy a 2006 Montana 5th wheel and a big Dodge diesel bubba-truck for towing. Now all we needed to do was re-arrange, arrange and set out on all those adventures we have been putting off until tomorrow.
WOW did we make a good decision. Our last camper was nice - but just a baby thing. The only place to sit was the dinette or the bed or outside! This new rig is like a camping palace compared to the old one. We've adjusted nicely to the comfy kingsize bed, sofa, recliners, table and chairs for a rousing game of Farkle, and my trusty workstation in case my faithful sidekick Carol wants to help me make some money while I am on the road.
So off we go, with our small canine companions Coco & Cissy, heading here and there looking for fun. (Connie the cat has wisely choosen to stay home under the watchful eyes of Aunt Joi). Tag along if you wish, and send us messages along the trail ....
