Welcome to our trip journal! Driving to Alaska - The Last Great Frontier
Okay, we are ready for our journey to begin(or start?). We hope you will join us on our adventures. We have pulled the following maps for this journey: TX, NM, CO, WY, MT, BC, YK (Yukon), NT (Northwest Territories) and for our final destination, Alaska. We have marked up all over "The Milepost" book, so we have many more places to visit on this trek then ever before in our travel. WOW! If we make it, it will be an accomplishment. We are looking at a total of 12,000 miles and since we don’t like to travel more then 200-250 miles a day, we may not be back until Thanksgiving!
