Great Adventure #2 - DC or Bust!

Well, we are at it again, off to see America with the Fifth wheel tucked behind us and the open road ahead. This year we are traveling solo, as Roxie and Bailey decided to move on to greener pastures and causing mischief in Heaven rather than watching the road go by from the back seat. We will miss them greatly, but also will have a little more freedom to explore without worrying about them back at the camp. No more races to see who will be the first one in the car! They honestly were worse than kids when it came to going for a ride!

We decided that with all the earthquakes, hurricanes and tornadoes in D.C., we better see the Nation's Capitol before God turns it into Sodom and Gomorrah. Howard has never been to D.C. and I think everyone should see the Smithsonian and the beautiful monuments we have there. After we visited Europe and saw all their restoration programs that have kept THOUSAND year old buildings alive, I figure we should see our 100 and 200 year monuments before we tear them down. I just hope I will do better this year than I did last year in keeping abreast of our trip, but if all else fails you will at least have a little bit of insight as to what we are up to and where we are at.
