"Down Mexico Way" |
|
Welcome to my travel log!
It's been twenty-five years since I raced the Baja 1000. One thousand miles (not kilometers) of grueling off-road ruts, mountains, streams, dry-lake beds, Sajuaro forests, and dust, dust, and more dust. All as fast as we could! (We finished 4th in class)
And now I return for a more leasurly two or three month trip down mainland Mexico. Hopefully I'll find enough Internet cafes along the way or sponge-off a fellow traveler's broadband satellite connection to keep this up-to-date. We'll see.
I hope you'll enjoy joining me on this journey.
