Welcome to my travel journal site! Here you'll (soon) find journals from my journeys near and far. I hope you will enjoy following me on my travels.
This Fall I've had a lot going on. I had a friend visit from Glasgow, Scotland. I showed him around the Mid-Atlantic coast of the United States. We explored parts of the southern New Jersey shore area, such as Ocean City, Atlantic City, Smithville, and Mays Landing as well as the Vineland area. Then we visited Philadelphia and spent a weekend in New York City.
Then I took an exciting trip to the Riviera Maya Coast of Mexico! I took a Spanish course at a school in Playa del Carmen, which I arranged through a company called Languages Abroad. From there, I took day trips to Tulum, Chichen Itza, Coba and Cancun.
After that I spent a weekend in Woodbridge, New Jersey (near New York City) for the annual New Jersey Romance Writers Conference.
Last weekend, I went to the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology for a volunteers meeting, and to train to lead tours in their Egypt galleries.
And soon, I'll be heading to visit Phoenix, Arizona!
