Welcome to our travel journal.
Todd and I retired from our financial planning business in 2000. After his eight-year stint as mayor here in Rockport, TX, we bought an RV and truck so we could leave home for some adventures.
We started our travels by visiting Texas' lovely State Parks.
After a year of smaller trips, we have decided to take our first big road trip to ALASKA.
We invite you to come along with us as we head north through the US, cross into Canada, pass through the Yukon Territory to the Al Can Highway, and end up in lovely Fairbanks.
Since we reside in a very warm climate surrounded by palm trees, this trip with permafrost, snow and possible highs of only 65 will give us quite a respite from the South Texas sun!
