Aug 6, 2006 - Depart Denver to NYC to Amsterdam to Cape Town
Aug 9, 2006 - Explore Cape Town and visit Robbin Island and the prison Nelson Mandela stayed at.
Aug 10, 2006 - Go to the top of Table Mountain and enjoy the views
Aug 11, 2006 - Rent a car to visit the beach with the penguins and tour the Cape of Good Hope
Aug 12, 2006 - Depart Cape Town to Johannesburg to Livingstone/Victoria Falls. Stay the night at a hostel in Livingstone.
Aug 13, 2006 - Meet up with Safari group
Aug 14, 2006 - Visit Victoria Falls
Aug 15, 2006 - Take a helicopter ride over the falls
Aug 16, 2006 - Travel Day and arrive at Flat Dogs campsite just outside the South Luangwa National Park
Aug 17, 2006 - Day and Night Game Safaris in South Luangwa National Park
Aug 18, 2006 - Travel Day- Leave Zambia and enter Malawi. Arrive at campsite on the shores of Lake Malawi
Aug 19, 2006 - Travel Day- Go north on Lake Malawi to another campsite
Aug 20, 2006 - Walking cultural tour of village. Shopping at markets.
Aug 21, 2006 - Travel day- camp on shores of Lake Malawi at a terrible campsite
Aug 22, 2006 - Travel Day- leave Malawi into Tanzania
Aug 23, 2006 - Our route continues through the tea and coffee plantations of the Kipengere mountains and small villages of southern Tanzania. Arrive in Dar es Salaam.
Aug 24, 2006 - Using the ferry we cross to the spice Island of Zanzibar, a wonderful cultural melting pot of African, Arabic and Indian cultures. Visit the historic Stone Town.
Aug 25, 2006 - Go on Spice Tour and head to the beaches of Northern Zanzibar
Aug 26, 2006 - Snorkeling in the Indian Ocean and relaxation day
Aug 27, 2006 - Head back to Stone Town and take ferry across back to Dar es Salaam
Aug 28, 2006 - Leave Dar es Salaam and head to Mt. Kiliminjaro
Aug 29, 2006 - Take part in cultural village walk and rest
Aug 30, 2006 - We travel through Masai land, the Great Rift Valley and on to Karatu home of the Mburu people.
Aug 31, 2006 - Using Landrover type vehicles we spend the day viewing wildlife in the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the Garden of Eden, the crater is home to over 30,000 animals including lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo.
Sep 1, 2006 - Enter Kenya and travel to Nairobi the capital.
Sep 2, 2006 - Fly back to Denver via Amsterdam, JFK, and Nairobi
