New gift idea "MemoryBook by MyTripJournal" enters Beta phase
Vancouver, BC, Canada
MyTripJournal Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the Beta testing cycle of its new MemoryBook, a printed version of travelers’ online Trip Journals created through MyTripJournal.com as well as white labeled online journals run through partner sites including Lonely Planet, Good Sam Club, Woodalls and GAP Adventures.
MemoryBook was produced in response to frequent user demand for a permanent, bound record of travelers’ online journals. Thousands of customers worldwide have created online journals on the MyTripJournal system, including photos, text, maps and email messages while traveling. MemoryBook will give them the option to produce a printed version as a keepsake, for themselves or a loved one.
A Virtual Tour of MemoryBook’s contents and layout can be taken online at http://mytripjournal.com/memorybooktour .
MyTripJournal was overwhelmed by respondents when more than 15 times the allotment of Beta testers asked to be included in the first 12 hours after the invitation was sent out.
Teams of carefully selected MyTripJournal users are actively testing the product prior to full market release. Beta Testing is expected to be carried on until the end of the November after which a brief phase of Early Adopters large scale test release will occur.
"Offering a user friendly system which produces a high quality product is our priority. Our MTJ Beta Testers are an integral part of any new product release, and entering this phase is a significant step in accomplishing this, " says Maureen Collins, director of customer experience at MyTripJournal. "We are relying on our users' experiences and feedback to ensure our MemoryBook product meets their needs before we move to the next step. We have a lot of customers waiting for this product and we want to make sure that it is released with the usual MTJ service and quality they have come to expect"
“MemoryBook is produced by the user through the use of a simple Wizard,” said Collins. “The concept of the MemoryBook Wizard is to make the book creation process as easy as possible for our user.”
“Our customers can create their MemoryBook easily without having to learn any new software. This process is very different from most photo book software which can involve a long and tedious process of compiling and laying out every page. Many people do not have the time or patience to do this.”
To avoid this process, MyTripJournal's MemoryBook Wizard was conceived to let travelers go directly to Checkout without having to leaf through, or lay out, all the pages of their books. Travelers can choose to edit any part of their Trip Journal content, or to just print it all without reviewing it.
