This morning I slept later than I had intended -- but, well, I'm on vacation, right? It was a little after noon by the time I got to the Cascade Flea Market to see friends, Loretta and Esther. They have a large booth chock full of pretty wall art, antique and vintage jewelry and other items. I bought a cuff bracelet with a spring hinge and navy stones, a pair of small gold hoop earrings with one each black and white pearl dangles and a gold chain with navy setting. They look very nice.
Loretta and Esther treated me like royalty. Loretta took me to lunch at a local eatery and then about mid-afternoon took me to the beauty shop where she and Esther get their haircuts. I was in dire need of a shearing because I was just one step ahead of the dog catcher's net. The lady did a very good job of cutting my difficult mane. Then this evening they fed me a wonderful dinner of goulash, garden salad and garlic bread. They even sent me home with enough leftovers for three more meals! Wow! Can't beat a deal like that.
My home for tonight was at the Arrowhead RV Park on the south side of Cascade, just a half mile from the flea market.
