We visited a really cool museum today at the Old Montana Prison. The Old Montana Prison is one of Montana's oldest and largest historic structures. It was built in the 1870's, used for 110 continuous years as Montana's only prison. It now houses the Montana Auto Museum. We also took a tour of the prison, that will have to wait for a full update on it's own. :-)
We only paid $8 each for entrance into 5 different museums: Old Montana Prison, Montana Auto Museum, Frontier Montana, Yesterdays Plaything's and Powell County Museum. You learn all about cowboys, cars and cons. :-) You are allowed to break the visits up into several days. This update is for the Montana Auto Museum only. Check back later for more updates about the other museums.
I had to take all the pictures inside with a flash, please excuse some that have glares etc. The cars were incredible! They even had a 1933 Pop-up camper on display. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
