We are boondocking in the tiny town of Evaro, Montana. We had two very busy weeks in Kalispell. I had my eyes examined and got my contact prescription renewed. We got the spring replaced on the awning. We are very happy to have our patio back. We also had some much needed remodeling done. We have new carpet and flooring all over the RV. Most of our time in Kalispell was spent visiting all the carpet and flooring stores in town. We finally decided on the best colors and are very happy with the results. It looks great!

We did manage to find time to go back to Glacier National Park once more. It looked totally different than the last time. All the snow has thawed around Lake McDonald. There is still a ton of snow in the higher elevations. We had hoped to finally drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road, but it was only open for about 29 miles. They had record snow this year and may not be open until late July, or possibly not at all this year. We took a lot of pictures around the Village Inn and Cabins. They are right on Lake McDonald and McDonald Creek, the water was crystal clear and it made us want to dive in.

We could not believe how crowded the area is now. We finally got to see one of the Red Jammers in the park, it was cool! I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. We will be visiting some of old gold mining ghost towns around Butte, Philipsburg and other areas in Montana before heading to Yellowstone National Park.
