This morning I took Nancy Riley to Temple to Maxine Lisenbe's house. On our way there we stopped at the Bell County Secure Rest Center. It is a very nice one with free WiFi, interesting displays and two tornado shelters.
Nancy wanted to see Maxine's little Itasca motorhome, which is for sale. Nancy is looking at all angles. The refrigerator needs to be replaced and the generator either replaced or repaired. Buying an RV is a big decision. Maxine served us some delicious banana nut bread and coffee. We had a very good visit with her. Her son was off work today and had come over to show Nancy the motorhome.
On the way home we stopped at the Cracker Barrel in Round Rock for a late lunch. Then we drove on to Crestview RV in Buda to check on refrigerators. I tried to get a locking gas cap there but they didn't have one. They referred me to the nearby Ford dealer, but I had no luck there either. They did an Internet search for the cap and found several locations in Austin where I might find one.
Ah, well, we had a good time today.
