We visited Yellowstone National Park again today, this time we were driving the RV and pulling the car. It was not as much fun as in the car. It was quite scary at times. Some of the roads are very curvy with no shoulders. I am so thankful that Jerry has all the driving experience he has. From my side of the front seat it looked like we were going to tumble over many times. I was glad to get out of the park this time. :-)
We only saw a few elk and one stubborn buffalo. He held up the traffic for some time. He did not want to move out of the way. We did stop for a quick lunch in the park in Madison Valley along the Madison River. It was beautiful!
Our total drive today was about 188 miles to Rexburg, Idaho. We are staying in Rexburg for a couple of days rest before moving on to Nevada. The campground is only $20 a night with full hook-ups. All the sites are pull-throughs with a great view of Rainbow Lake. The lake has a walking trail around it and a little bridge with a stream. A lovely place to rest for a day or so. We will be stocking up at the local Walmart and preparing for our drive to Nevada. More later from somewhere in Nevada.
