We have enjoyed our time with family in Vegas. We are leaving tomorrow morning, heading to Colorado.
I promised some of our readers more information about the campground we stayed in while in Vegas. It is the Clark County Shooting Range and RV Park. It is one of the best kept secrets for camping in Vegas. It is about 18 miles from the Vegas Strip. We wanted to be close to our family and didn't care much about going to the Strip, so it was perfect for us.
The cost per day is $20, with full 50 amp hook-ups. They also are in need of people to work here for free camping. They offer 30 sites with a gated area with nice canopies over the sites. I tried to zoom in and get a good picture but it was a bit too far away.
We parked in site #80 because it is as far as you can get away from the main area of the shooting range. We could hear the noise some nights, especially on Wednesdays and the weekends when they have special events, but it was not bad at all.
We will definitely come back again next time we are in Vegas. I hope this helps, if you need more information, google Clark County Shooting Range in North Vegas for more details.
