We said good-bye to Jean, Ed and Jessie this morning – we have had such a good visit together. Then we headed up to worship. The service went well – handling the cordless mike in a robe without pockets was a little strange, but we managed. It was good to be back in the pulpit.

Because Larry & Molly took our shift today, we were able to join the congregation downstairs in Social Hall after the service and everyone stayed and talked for quite a while. We got to meet some of the folks that we had not yet met and got to know them.

Many of our clothes smelled of smoke, so when we got home, we rounded up the laundry. While our clothes were being washed, we shared a delicious tri-tip sandwich from Rays, sitting on the back of the truck. When we got home, we quickly put away the laundry and cleaned the rig.

After walking the loops, we had a few left-overs for a supper snack and then relaxed.
