|We left the campground this morning and drove over to Pensacola Fl. Then we followed the beach road all the way back over to Gulfport. We ended up driving 110 miles. The best beach we found was Gulfport. Donald put his swimming trunks on and got in the ocean. He said it was cold but not to bad when you got use to it. The water on the gulf side is really pretty and light blue.
Stopped at the Gulfport Kitchen and had lunch. It was very good. We hadn't had any seafood since the buffet at the casino in Bay St Louis. We had overdone it there. Donald had fried oysters and I had coconut shrimp. This is the best beach we have found. Lots of beach shops, hotels, and condos.
We stopped at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores and Donald has decided he would like to volunteer there next spring. They said you were required to work 20 hours a week which is not much to him and it was a real nice park right across from the beach. Really nice swimming pool It would be a good place for Tammy's family to come visit us on spring break.
