Our last stop!

We had another fabulous day in Grand Junction, Colorado. If you could ever choose where to break down in an RV, this would be the place. :-) We are making the most of our time here.

Today we drove the awesome scenic Rim Rock Drive in the Colorado National Monument. It is hard to describe all the breathtaking views. We saw towering monoliths, balanced rocks, and steep red-walled canyons and much more on this 23-mile drive that twist and turns around the park. It took us hours to stop and explore all the viewing areas. We were hoping to see some wildlife, they have a lot of bighorn sheep in the park, but we missed them.

We were told by the great folks at the local visitors center not to miss this one, we are glad we listened. We enjoyed it much. After the drive we had some awesome seafood at Red Lobster. We are having a wonderful time with Betty. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
