Well, I have been an ill person for the past four days suffering with a cold/strep throat with all of the symptoms. Achy body, fever, sore throat, teeth hurting & the list goes on. Oh, let's not forget the cough. And cough, and cough!!! Until it hurts. Larry says that's a big plus, it exercises the stomach muscles. I think not, lol! He actually had a much milder case of this for the 4-5 days prior to me getting it, so I'm blaming him. Larry's big issue was not being able to breathe & the poor guy has slept in his recliner for the last week+. Makes me feel bad, but I'm sure he slept much better than he would have with me coughing in his face all night long.

I started on antibiotics for the strep a few days ago and think I finally made it over the hill this morning. At least I'm showered and dressed today. So, enough whining for now but I'm glad it's on the downside for sure!

Unfortunately, I was too ill to go over to the kids to celebrate Levi's 3rd birthday on Sunday. I certainly didn't want to spread anything around. We actually had three birthday's in the family on Saturday, May 2nd. Our grandson Jeffrey, grandson Levi and nephew Bill all share that special day. Jeffrey & Levi were born exactly 20 years apart on the same day. You might remember that Jeffrey is serving in the Army, stationed in Ft Leonardwood, Missouri so unfortuantely he wasn't here with us. But he was in our thoughts all day for sure.

Larry took the camera along and tried to capture a few shots for me. So, I'm sharing a few with you today. Looks like they all had a good time. Wish I had been there! Tomorrow morning I'm getting a new haircut & color I haven't had a salon 'do' in many years so I'm looking forward to that. Onyx has an appt for grooming Thursday & Larry is wrapping up with oil changes, tires etc as we prepare to head out for the summer on Saturday. Lots to do, too little time! Man, is it just me or does time really fly these days???? Have a great day & thanks for stopping by :)
