US Border Crossing

Seattle in the distance

Took just over an hour at the US border to cross and recommend not getting in the far left lane with an RV. They vector you out a special way with the semis and it adds 15 min of driving because you cannot go straight through due to cement walls that do not allow big rigs to turn. The rest of the ride was non-eventful and we dropped our swivelwheel platform off at a welders to have some work done on it since we will be here awhile. Found a nice Army campground at Ft Lewis south of Seattle, WA to set up and hang out for awhile. Guys went back to our swivelwheel (10 minutes away) to take the wood platform off since they had to do some welding on it, and drove the motorcycle back to the camp after dinner. Mom and I cleaned up dinner and relaxed and they finally showed up at 10 pm! Nice facilities here to stay in a wooded area and roomy sites. Brother Fran and Carla are only 10 minutes south of here and niece Heather and Clay are a couple hours to the north in Arlington.
