Last one, our site in Las Cruces!


Today was another travel day, we drove from Albuquerque to Las Cruces, NM. We had a pretty drive with quite a bit of wind. When we arrived at the campground we noticed we lost one of our air conditioner covers. Yikes!

We knew the wind was bad, but had not realized how bad. We will have to stop at the next Camping World and replace it. They have them for $150.

Once we got set up, we went to eat and check out the town. We found a great Mexican Restaurant that had wonderful food and entertainment. They had huge cages with Macaws, African Grays, Amazon Parrots, Cockatoos and more. We didn't even mind waiting for them to call us to a table.

After dinner, we did a bit of shopping and exploring. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from New Mexico.
