Our trip from home to Marianna, FL was an easy 224 miles, mostly on I-10 across the top of Florida into the panhandle under bright, sunny skies.
We are staying at the Alliance Hill RV Park
, also known as the Alliance Hill 50 Plus RV Resort on their web site, but Alliance Hill RV Park on the sign as you enter?. It is a new park with large concrete 50 amp, full hookup, pull-throughs, and a concrete patio with picnic table. The sites are larger than usual and since it is several miles off the interstate is pretty quiet after dark though there are many log trucks running on the road near the park during the day. It has a nice recreation center, laundry, etc and the Verizon coverage is very good. There are also a few back-in sites under the pine trees they have been putting towables in if that want that type of site.
We didn't do much while here but decompress from getting ready for the trip and take care of a few things on the Mothership that had cropped up.
Tomorrow, we take the short journey up US 231 to Montgomery, AL for one night.
