|We left Oshawa this morning amidst tears and hugs and tight squeezes. It's always sad to say "see you" to our older relatives. They are 93 and 94. We had a lovely drive through Toronto with no slowdowns and arrived at Niagara on the Lake around 2:30. I got out and took some pics of the lakeshore and Frank made a coffee. Back in the truck and it started but would not change gears or shut off. Windows were down and we had no electrical functions. Finally got it on the road and drove back to Niagara Falls with the windows down in 2nd gear. What a racket and lots of stares. Griswalds for sure, but we came across an automotive shop and just drove in and blocked everyone and they looked at it and got to work immediately. told us to go for a walk in the Queen Street area across the road and it was nice and warm and there was a classic car show in the street so we really enjoyed that. Back to get the truck in 1 1/2 hours and all was fixed and the clock even works now. So camping at KOA and tomorrow morn we will bus into the town and be tourists and thurs we will go back to Niagara on the Lake and wander around the most beautiful place on earth. Thurs we will head west and maybe stop in Leamington to visit Barry and Ruth. All is great and we are now looking forward to being tourists. Will not take the same route home as three years ago. And there are some Casinos to explore. Hope all of you are well and enjoying the last few days of spring. Happy Summer to all and some of you we will see soon.
