Nothing Toulouse travel blog

Music by the river

Taken in Cordes-sur Ciel, a very pretty village built on a hill.

Pom pom covered tree!

Nice French window

.. and a nice door :)

I can’t believe my time in Toulouse is soon coming to an end!

This week I finished exams and now have holiday- woohooo!

Sarah is arriving here this afternoon and we will be spending 2 weeks together, so I am very excited. The plan is to show her a bit of Toulouse before we follow the warmer sun and head down to Barcelona and maybe Valencia/somewhere more south.

It’s going to be really hard leaving friends and special people here!

I think it’s true to say that living abroad you not only learn about a new country and culture, but you also see your own in a different way. It's been lonely at times, being so far away from home and having a completely different life out here, but overall it’s been a very enriching experience. However corny it sounds to say, it’s true that it has broadened my horizons and I wouldn't have missed it for anything!
