|Today we started very late (needless to say). In the morning I focused on setting up this log, spent time on E&K stuff and got to know our temporary home. The team rousted by noon but we didn't arrive to Jamestown until 2:00pm. Very interesting history. Chosen for it defensibility, not livability, this precolonial site was a rotten spot to put down roots. So many of its initial inhabitants perished. We walked through an Indian Village, a English settlement and three replicas of transport ships. All of us maintained our interest. The site closed at 5:00pm, so we had it easy. We cooked at the condo. And stayed awake too late.
